Dave Newton is the Chief Operating Officer of BP Chargemaster the leading home and public EV charging company in the UK. Dave has been with the company since it was acquired by BP in July 2018 and before that Dave led the development of BP’s Global EV strategy. Prior to his time within the electrification sector, Dave has spent over twenty years working within BP’s forecourt retailing business including roles as the Managing Director of BP’s UK company forecourt business for a number of years overseeing the instigation of the highly successful partnership between BP and Marks and Spencer, and three years as Global Strategy manager for all of BP’s retail divisions around the globe.
