Mark started life as a farmer in West Yorkshire. He left home at 19 to join HMF in the RAF regiment for a number of years, before joining Mobil Oil Company on Victoria Street London in 1987.
Mark worked on the ops side, for Prime Garages Limited, located inside the M25, with a portfolio of around 50 sites. Mark held a number of positions in lubes, card marketing, then was also was part of the launch of Premier Points, before taking up a role in the Dealer sector.
Mobil merged with BP in 1996. As with all large mergers, there were many redundancies. “Unfortunately”, Mark states, “I wasn't one of them!”, so he continued in his role in the independent sector before leaving to work for one of the most respected retailers, Robert & Hugh Fraser. 23 years later he’s still working for FRL.
