Tim Ross started with the London Fire Brigade in 2017 as a Fire Safety Inspecting Officer, serving the boroughs of Kingston, Merton, and Richmond, before moving to be a mentor for new Fire Safety Advisors in 2019. Tim assisted in creating training packages and leading new Advisors on how to understand fire safety legislation and carry out inspections.
In 2021, Tim became the Team Leader for the Primary Authority Business Group where he transitioned his knowledge and skills to leading a dedicated team in applying a consistent approach to fire safety in the industry, and becoming the Team Leader for the Petroleum team in 2023. Tim is currently London Fire Brigade’s Fire Safety liaison lead for waste recycling site fires in London.
